Vintage handmade duck figure by Aviemore Pottery Scotland, dating from roughly the 1980s, although the exact date is uncertain.

The body is extensively hand-modelled with layered feather detail, giving the piece far more sculptural work than a standard thrown bowl or salt pig. Subtle colour around the head and face adds to its individual character.

Approx. 11 × 8 cm.

As with the nature of vintage pottery seconds, there may be small imperfections in places; this, in turn, brings an element of charm and originality.
