Vintage handmade hen figure by Aviemore Pottery Scotland, dating from roughly the 1980s, although the exact date is uncertain.

This is a particularly labour-intensive sculptural piece, with the plumage individually modelled and layered around the body, together with carefully formed facial and comb details.

Approx. 10 × 9 cm.

As with the nature of vintage pottery seconds, there may be small imperfections in places; this, in turn, brings an element of charm and originality.
