Salt pigs, as the name suggests, are primarily used for holding salt, however they are also hugely helpful for all baking and cooking needs. A perfect addition to the kitchen.

The flowing green glaze and handmade finish are characteristic of Aviemore Pottery Scotland. This surviving vintage piece dates from approximately the 1970s; the exact date is uncertain.

As with the nature of pottery seconds, there may be small imperfections in places which, in turn, brings an element of charm and originality.
